
Renata C. Bernard is an Instructional Design professional with more than 20 years of experience in training design and management. As a trainer and adjunct instructor, Renata has facilitated workshops, presentations, semester-long courses, and panel discussions on topics ranging from leadership development to electronic medical records systems. With both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in communications and organizational development, she provides structural insight for the Center of Active Learning, as well as guidance on how to connect the mission to a larger audience.
In her current role at Medidata Solutions, she is a Senior Learning Solutions Designer; Chair for the Women of Color BRG; member of the Social Innovation Lab; Engagement Team member; Executive Leadership Council representative; and three-time Encore Award winner. Christopher James is an outstanding community activist. A Navy Veteran, Mr. James works tirelessly to create programs that support our military community. Mr. James' background is rooted in public and political policies via his work with the New York Council, Council Member Darlene Mealy and the Bed-Stuy Enrichment Center. Mr. James' contributions have been pivotal regarding the accessibility of funding opportunities and forming partnerships with local community organizations.
