Renata Bernard is a leadership coach, educator and communications expert with a background in organizational development. She is currently teaching an Interpersonal Communications course at Nassau Community College and delivers IT training to the staff at NYU Langone Medical Center. Mrs. Bernard provides tremendous input in establishing a solid organizational structure for the Center for Active Learning that will foster it's steady growth and development. Christopher James is an outstanding community activist. A Navy Veteran, Mr. James works tirelessly to create programs that support our military community. Mr. James' background is rooted in public and political policies via his work with the New York Council, Council Member Darlene Mealy and the Bed-Stuy Enrichment Center. Mr. James' contributions have been pivotal regarding the accessibility of funding opportunities and forming partnerships with local community organizations.
